something new, cheers to heroes and re-living memories
a toast to the not so-html versed me ! whoa...through trial and error...i was able to fix my template's margins, inserted space for comments and showed my blog's title.........haaaaay salamat! right now i'm also trying how to post pictures para naman may visual touches ang blog ko nde puro text...i find it too weird that an artist like me don't have pix in any of my blogs.
hmmm...it's already thursday and i'm writing my entry just now because i was attending to a lot of things lately. last thursday, i went on board for the very first time. i was with the employees of one of the companies we're managing. we had strategic planning there and it was sort of teambuilding also. the experience was not sooooo different when you're riding a land transport pala except that you get to see islands instead of buildings, the sea instead of roads, there were no humps but waves. it was a very serene view but the vast sea and deep water sometimes scare me to death. everything was free..food, accommodation & entertainment (VIDEOKE to sawa!). the sad part was that i wasn't able to help my SFC community in designing the assigned GK house to our sector:( anyway, i was also able to help by designing one of the banners for the SFC booth.
we arrived in manila at 5 PM of saturday and i went straight to the fort to join the celebration of GK's 1st year anniversary...CHEERS! GK776 na lang! in line with the celebration was an expo of the different GK villages and an a star-studded concert which featured the YFC-SIGA and professional artists such as isay alvarez, joel torre, robert cena, carla martinez, kuh ledesma, the apo, martin nieverra and gary valenciano. some parts put me to yawn but hey, i'd like to commend all of them for helping us in GK...you are heroes too! the much-awaited bamboo, the band's concert immediately followed.i, together with my household members and malen were able to reach the front area and we were seated where the big cams were located so we got to see the best view...bamboo was so literally reachable from where we are.too bad, the rest of the band members were at the back coz that's where their instruments were plugged.haaaay, as usual ira was so handsome. can't help but reminisce good old college memories with his old band, passage.'twas my first time to see him after 2 loooong years! MAHAL KITA, IRA! i was shouting that the whole time...hehehe! bamboo's sooo sexy, nathan looks naughty and vic was...well, quiet. we really had fun and we really didn't care if there were people (the whole chapter, actually) looking for us because they all wanted to go home.ang hirap kaya umalis from where we were...baka mapisa pa kami so we think it's but logical to stay 'til the concert was over.
then sunday morning came... of course, i did my holy obligation then went to our CLP's orientation.after that, we went to the new apartment that we'll be renting (THANK GOD, we're finally leaving the village!...i can't bear the neighborhood anymore!) . i fell in love with the place instantly.we had dinner with our former chapter head's place....and i kinda miss those kind of moments that we used to share.it's sooo good to re-live the good memories with them.
